Download everything, or delete your account

Take a copy of every record and file in one download, and see what is deleted, and what stays for a short time, when you delete your account.

Updated 24 October 2026

You can take a copy of everything in your account at any time, and delete the account once you no longer need it. Both are under Account, in Settings.

Download everything

  1. Go to Account, and under Settings tap Downloads and records.
  2. Under Your records, tap Download everything.
  3. Under Everything, in one download, tap Download Everything.

You get one zip file, named with the date. It holds every record, and every certificate, photo, document, receipt and email the app keeps, in a folder for each property and each tenancy. It’s made as it downloads, so a big account takes a few minutes. One download can be up to 200 MB and 3,000 files, and an account can start 10 a day.

Download Records gives just the one file with every record, without the files: quicker, and small enough to share from the app. Below it, the screen lists each evidence file, to save as a PDF with Print Evidence File, and Open Books for your books as a spreadsheet.

Your tenants’ details in the download are yours to look after, as they are in the app. In the sample account, Download Everything gives the one file of the sample’s records.

Delete your account

The record of each gas safety check is kept until two further checks have been made. Deleting the account deletes those records with everything else, so save any you still need first.

  1. Go to Account. At the foot, under Settings, tap Delete account. In the sample account, it’s under The sample account.
  2. Read What’s deleted.
  3. Under Before you delete, save what you might need: Download Everything, Open Properties for each evidence file, and Open Books to export your books.
  4. Read What stays for a short time, and why, and Subscriptions.
  5. Under Delete the account, type DELETE in capital letters, and tap Delete Account. Keep My Account, beside it, goes back without deleting anything.
  6. Tap Delete Account again to confirm, or Cancel.

The account and everything in it are deleted straight away, and it can’t be undone. Once it’s deleted, its evidence files can’t be got back. Most of the copies listed under What stays for a short time, and why go within 7 to 30 days. No email is sent to say it’s done: the last screen is the confirmation.

If the account can’t be deleted from the app, the screen says why and what to do instead. In the sample account, nothing is deleted.

While there are no paid plans, Subscriptions says there is nothing to cancel.
