Send your tenants their tenant page
Invite each tenant to their own page for repair reports, updates, visit times and the house guide, and close it when needed.
Updated 24 October 2026
Each tenant can have their own page, opened from an email to their own address: the emergency numbers, reporting a repair with photos, and every repair’s progress. You send it from the property’s page.
A new tenant page first needs a number your tenants can ring out of hours, given in Repairs settings. Set up out-of-hours cover and emergency emails shows how.
- Open the property from Properties, then open Tenant’s page and WhatsApp (Tenants’ pages and WhatsApp with joint tenants).
- Tap Send Tenant Page beside a tenant. Where two or more have an email address, Send to Every Tenant sends to each.
- If you haven’t sent a test emergency yet, the app then offers Send Test Emergency. Tap Not Now to leave it for later.
Each email carries a fresh link that works once, opened with a tap on its button. Your tenant then stays signed in on their own device, and the page works until 14 days after the tenancy ends. To send a fresh link later, tap Send New Link.
A tenant with no email address can’t be sent a page. They report by phone or text, and you log it: see Log a repair.
What your tenant sees
At the top, under Is anyone in danger now?, the page shows the emergency numbers, even before your tenant signs in.
Your tenant’s page says:
- 999: Fire, police or ambulance, if anyone is in danger
- 0800 111 999: Gas emergency: a smell of gas or carbon monoxide. Free, 24 hours
- 105: Power cut. Free
- NHS 111: Urgent medical advice
Then your tenant:
- Opens the link in your email and taps Open My Page. If they lose the link, Email Me a Link sends a new one to the address you have for them.
- Taps Report a Repair, answers four short steps and taps Send Report, or Send Report Now for an emergency. They get a reference.
- Follows each repair under Your repairs, with your updates and Add Information. They answer a visit time with Choose This Time or None of These Suit Me, and Is it fixed? with It’s Fixed or It’s Not Fixed.
- Reads the house guide you publish, under About your home. Under What’s happened?, eight buttons, such as one for a leak, show the safety words, your guide and your own instructions, then lead to Report a Repair.
Sign Out and Sign Out Everywhere are at the foot of the page.
Close a tenant’s page
- Under Tenant’s page and WhatsApp, tap Close Tenant Page beside the tenant.
- Tap Close Tenant Page again to confirm.
Their link, any codes and every device signed in stop working at once. Their repairs and records stay with you, and a new page needs Send Tenant Page.
